  Emprender Bolivia

EMPRENDER is an MFI (Microfinance Institution) that caters financial services to small businesspeople of the peripheral-urban and rural areas of Bolivia. Its commitment is towards low income individuals, in order to build a better, more equitable and fair society; its resources are geared to the economic development of small businesspeople, who generally lack collaterals or other types of conventional banking guarantees.

 
 
 

It was founded on September 25th, 1997; it has established its legal status through Prefecture Resolution Nº 0524 dated December 11th, 1998; NGO Registration Nº 0915 granted by the National Financing and Programming Coordination for NGO’s on July 27th, 1999; Tax Payers Registration Nº 1017157021 and Commercial Name and Trademark registration Nº 106576-C granted by the Bolivian Intellectual Property Service “SENAPI”.

We are a self-sustainable social development institution, which comprises of specialized and committed personnel that offers high quality (agile and timely) services to small business entrepreneurs and businesspeople, who do not have easy access to capitals for small investments.

To become a key instrument in the development process of small entrepreneurs of the urban-peripheral and rural areas of this country, with an impact on their revenues and income, employment and the improvement of the quality of life thereof; as an institution to remain throughout time.
